Sunday Funday Challenge #2

Welcome to the second ‘Sunday Funday Challenge!’

For those of you unaware, I have set up this challenge myself in order to help you find new blogs that you will love, and to help promote your own blog posts to a different audience.

Here’s how it works:

1) Every Sunday I will post a blog post entitled ‘Sunday Funday Challenge’.

2) Every Sunday, you pick one blog post of your choice from your own blog, which you want to share with people. Copy and paste the URL into the comments section below in order to share it with other Sunday Funday participants.

3) Each Sunday, pick a different post from the week before, which you want to share.

It’s as simple as that!

Invite others to read your favourite posts, comment on blog posts which you love, and promote yourself.

If you have a Twitter account, share the challenge with your followers and use the hashtag #SundayFundayChallenge – The more the merrier and all bloggers are welcome!

So, let’s get started shall we?

Here is my post I’m going to share with you today, called ‘Mirror Mirror on the Wall’

Now, copy and paste a post of your own into the ‘comments’ section below, check out the posts shared by other bloggers and most of all have fun!! 🙂

If you took part last week, remember to share a different post with us this week!

I look forward to reading your posts!

“Spring fashion & beauty essentials” – Guest Post by Amy Marie

Today, I have a wonderful guest post to share with you written by Amy Marie. Here, Amy Marie is talking about her Spring Beauty Essentials and Spring Fashion Essentials! Hope you enjoy reading this post, and please head over to Amy’s blog here!

Hi everyone! My name is Amy Marie and I blog over at Cocktails in Teacups. I’ve recently come out of a bit of a bloggers slump and I decided one of the ways to prevent it happening again was to post on other blogs, just to mix it up a bit. Today the lovely Jenny is allowing me to guest post on her blog. I’ve chosen to write about my Spring Essentials in both fashion and beauty, because even though where I’m living it’s cold and foggy (joys of living at a seaside town) it is supposedly Spring and I intend to enjoy it!

Lets starts with FashionSpring Fashion Essentials

Monochrome is a key trend this season, in particular gingham. I was a big fan of tartan during the winter but I’m an even bigger fan of gingham and my wardrobe is already full of bits i’ve been collecting to embrace this trend to the max. One of my favourites and biggest bargains has been these amazing gingham print leggings from Matalan. I say leggings but they’re so much more like trousers. For starter the material is so much thicker and isn’t see through in the slightest, they have a proper waistband and a zip for fastening. I love the turn up at the ankle. And the best part? They’re £12! Yes, £12! I’ve purchased them to fly in when I go on holiday at the end of May, they’re really comfortable, fashionable and will look great with a t-shirt, brogues and my denim jacket.

A make-up comparison – Beauty Guest Post by Alice

Today, I wonderful guest post by Alice to share with you! I hope you enjoy the post, and head over to visit Alice’s blog afterwards – agdoesmakeup.blogspot.com.

Hello everyone! I’m Alice from agdoesmakeup.blogspot.com and in a nutshell I’m a teenage makeup addict/shopaholic.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for a rather long time, you’re aware that Urban Decay’s Naked 2 palette is considered holy grail in the beauty blogger community, as it’s a covers-all-needs neutrals eyeshadow palette with matte and shimmery shades. Despite the time since it’s launch, the palette has remained at the steep price of £37.00, urging some drugstore brands to come out with dupes. Out of the few drugstore alternatives I’ve swatched, MUA’s Undress Me Too palette appears to be the closest match.
Lots of bloggers have mentioned MUA’s Heaven and Earth palette as a dupe, too.

“Dress like this. Act like that” – Judging a person defines you – Not them.

We live in a world full of judgemental people. People who judge others on what they do, what they say, how they dress, how they act… No matter where in the world you are, there will always be somebody who has something judgemental to say.

The biggest problem is that there is only a small minority of people, out of the billions of people in the world, that actually don’t care what others think. Obviously, as its the whole population of the world, that is still billions of people, but compared to the people who take the criticisms to heart, it is not very many.

My Fifteen Fabulous Favourites

So I thought I would share with you 15 favourites of mine today, to give you guys a chance to know a bit more about me 🙂 Enjoy!

1) Favourite Colourfl

I have three favourite colours – pink, purple and blue. If you walk into my bedroom, they are the colours you will see everywhere!

2) Favourite Vacation

My favourite holiday of all time was when I went to Florida. I have been three times now, and time seemed to go far too quickly whilst I was out there. Florida is the only place I have been to abroad, outside of the UK, but I hope to visit more places abroad in the future!

3) Favourite Time of Year

This one is kind of tricky. I don’t have a problem with any time of year, but it’s probably a toss up between summer and winter. I love those summer nights where you can go for nice long walks in a dress, or shorts/skirts and a t-shirt. The sound of the birds singing and the smell of BBQ’s … It’s such a beautiful time of year. Winter, however – I love those cwtchy nights in where you can cuddle up with a hot water bottle and your duvet, drinking hot chocolate and watching movies. 🙂

“Every little thing, is gunna be alright…”

Trying to convince yourself that everything is going to be okay can be pretty tough sometimes. No matter how many times I say it over in my head, I never believe it.

Everybody has their own personal way of dealing with things, but sometimes it can be much harder for some than others. I’ve recently been given some advice though, that you should write down things to try and convince yourself that everything is going to be okay and to stay positive. I’m not sure if it will definitely work, but there’s no harm in trying, right?
