Sunday Funday Challenge #5

Welcome to the fifth ‘Sunday Funday Challenge!’

For those of you unaware, I have set up this challenge myself in order to help you find new blogs that you will love, and to help promote your own blog posts to a different audience.

Here’s how it works:

1) Every Sunday I will post a blog post entitled ‘Sunday Funday Challenge’.

2) Every Sunday, you pick one blog post of your choice from your own blog, which you want to share with people. Copy and paste the URL into the comments section below in order to share it with other Sunday Funday participants.

3) Each Sunday, pick a different post from the week before, which you want to share.

It’s as simple as that!

Invite others to read your favourite posts, comment on blog posts which you love, and promote yourself.

If you have a Twitter account, share the challenge with your followers and use the hashtag #SundayFundayChallenge – The more the merrier and all bloggers are welcome!

So, let’s get started shall we?

Here is my post I’m going to share with you today – ‘Why You Don’t Need Alcohol To Have Fun’

Now, copy and paste a post of your own into the ‘comments’ section below, check out the posts shared by other bloggers and most of all have fun!! 🙂

If you took part last week, remember to share a different post with us this week!

I look forward to reading your posts!

“An insight to my blog” – Guest Post by Dorey

Today, I have a great guest post written by Dorey to share with you. Here, Dorey is giving you a brief insight into her blog, and sharing an extract from a post of hers with you! Hope you enjoy reading it, and be sure to check out her blog afterwards – here!

So I saw the opportunity to be able to reach a wider audience by doing a guest blog. So hello there fellow bloggers.

I just wanted to give a little insight into my blog. I blog about anything and everything, from visiting the gym to discussing the annoying kids on the train.  I’m also in the first year of living with my Boyfriend which is a first for me and I like the idea of documenting our lives together (the good and the bad)

He is bugging me to read this blog and I’ve been denying him access as some of the stuff is very personal which is crazy as you guys are strangers and you know some inner thoughts that I could never tell anyone. But I like that! Plus I can bitch and vent about him occasionally! Hahaha so keep it between us!!! :))
So here is an extract from my blog. Check it out I’m just starting out… But I’m loving it I hope you do too!!! Enjoy! 😉

My Beauty Tag

A couple of days ago, the lovely Karine tagged me to do the ‘Beauty Tag’ and I have finally got around to doing it! So, a big thankyou to Karine for tagging me – remember to go and check out her fabulous blog here.

So, let’s get started shall we?

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners and lip product or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

My palettes and eye shadows – I could just about live with that.

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Hmm, never be able to cut it again I think! Although, I guess having different wigs would be fine too!

3. If you had $500, would you spend it on clothes or make up?

Clothes.. Definitely clothes.

“Don’t let the past steal your future”

letSometimes, the thought of letting go seems impossible. You’ve held on to something for so long, so what’s the harm in holding on that little bit longer?

Whether it is a person you’re holding on to, a memory, or an object, it is never an easy move to make.

Have you ever held on to somebody, knowing that you are better off letting them go? So many relationships end up this way, especially first loves. I’ve been there, and I am guilty of holding on when I shouldn’t. Even when you know that it is for the best, you still cannot bring yourself to do it, no matter how hard you try.

How about an object? Something you feel close to. Something you have grown up with, that it is part of you. Perhaps the object is broken, or you have no use to it anymore – Why do we feel so guilty and alone when we try and part with it?

“Dress like this. Act like that” – Judging a person defines you – Not them.

We live in a world full of judgemental people. People who judge others on what they do, what they say, how they dress, how they act… No matter where in the world you are, there will always be somebody who has something judgemental to say.

The biggest problem is that there is only a small minority of people, out of the billions of people in the world, that actually don’t care what others think. Obviously, as its the whole population of the world, that is still billions of people, but compared to the people who take the criticisms to heart, it is not very many.

My Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hey everyone! Today I have decided to do the ‘Beauty Blogger Tag’! I haven’t actually been tagged by anybody in particular, I just really wanted to do it. Hope you enjoy!

1. Is your hair naturally straight or curly?
It’s more straight than curly, but I would say it is wavy.

2. What is your natural hair colour?
I’m a brunette 🙂

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I have never actually dyed my hair which is surprising!
